Our story
During this trip to Austin we had planned to go to Houston to see the Rockets. Before we left David said he needed to get drone footage of downtown because the city hired him for a shot of a new building they just finished (believable). Before we went, we got P.Terry’s, an Austin burger staple and scootered to Zilker Park to shoot.
Side note: David took me to this park the first time I came to Austin and the first photo posted of us was of us lying on the map from a drone.
We tend to document everything so when he asked to get some drone shots together I didn’t think anything of it. As we walked up a hill to the Texas map I saw roses lying on the ground. He got down on one knee, proposed, and I said YES! Two of his photographer friends captured this moment with some incredible photos. From there we headed to Houston to celebrate!
And to top off the whole surprise: a venue that I’ve been stalking for a while announced they were booked for 2019 a month ago. After telling David how bummed I was he reached out to them and found out they had one date left they were saving for the perfect couple. So we are getting married August 17, 2019 at Wildcliff in Blackwater, Mo!
